From the regatta to the reef

Race Week has its own rhythm — full days, late nights, a fleet on the water and everyone talking about the next race. Hayman Island offers the other half of it.

A short transfer from Hamilton Island, Hayman sits at the northern edge of the Whitsundays, past the moorings and the noise. Coral Sea on one side, dense national park on the other, and nothing much scheduled beyond a slow morning and wherever the day takes you.

Stay 17–31 August, with breakfast included each morning and a $100 spa credit to spend as you please.

What your days could look like

Mornings — Breakfast overlooking the coral sea, then the iconic Hayman pool, Hayman beach, or nothing at all.

Afternoons — Snorkel the reef just off shore and book a relaxing treatment with your spa credit.

Evenings — Dinner at Bam Bam, a walk along the beach, the kind of quiet that’s hard to find on a race-week itinerary.

Hayman Island is roughly one hour from Hamilton Island — close enough to fold into the same trip, far enough to feel like a different one. It’s the only island in the Whitsundays backed by dense national park rather than resort strip, and one of the few with reef accessible straight off shore.

The island was named part of Condé Nast Traveler’s inaugural Triple Crown, recognising it among a small group of properties worldwide.

Cancelling your reservation before 6PM (local hotel time) 30 days prior will result in no charge. Cancelling your reservation after 6PM (local hotel time) 30 days prior, or failing to show, will result in a charge equal to the entire stay per room to your credit card or other guaranteed payment method.
