InterContinental Hayman Great Barrier Reef invites you to experience the Resort, travelling to Hayman Island onboard your private vessel. Whether you are planning a day trip or an overnight stay, elevate your holiday in the Whitsunday Islands and visit the frontier of Australian luxury.

Bookings are required. Please complete the form below to request a berth in Hayman Marina at least 48 hours before arrival on the island.

Berth bookings are subject to availability and therefore are required to be confirmed by the Marina team before arrival.

Marina Berthing Fees

$350 day visit- 10am – 4pm. Under 26 metres

$550 day visit- 10am – 4pm. Over 26 metres

$350 pick up/ drop offs.

$350 overnight, staying in resort. Resort rate of the day applies to resort bookings. Under 26 metres.

$1350 overnight on yacht. Check out 10am on day of departure. Breakfast not included. Under 26 metres.

Early check in and late checkout are subject to availability.

The above rates do not include transport to and from resort.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All charges are to be paid on arrival at the Marina Office. Pressing accept is acknowledging and agreeing to the terms outlined.
An electricity usage fee of 0.41 cents per kwh is also applicable. This will be billed separately on your departure based upon consumption.
Fees & Conditions Payment by EFTPOS, Credit Card or Room Charge– please note credit cards will incur a surcharge. Smart resort dress regulations apply – collared shirts for gentlemen and enclosed shoes or sandals.
Bookings required. Must have resort booking and under no circumstances are permitted to stay on board vessel.
24 hours notice is required. Advanced bookings are essential due to limited availability. No access when winds exceed 25 knots. Contact Hayman Marine on VHF Channels 16 or 06 or by calling office direct 07 4940 1143 prior to entering the marina leads.
The marina provides water tank refills (no washing down of vessels) and rubbish disposal. Refreshments can be purchased from the Watersports Office.

RULES AND SAFETY REGULATIONS

All crew, captains and guests should wear appropriate resort attire and be presentable at all times.
The Hayman Marina is part of InterContinental Hayman Great Barrier Reef and assigned berthing location is as per the resort directive.
Entry into the marina by any means constitutes acceptance of the rules & regulations.
Entry into the marina and / or other areas of the resort is at the risk of the owners, their vessels, guests and contractors. The marina is not responsible and accepts no liability for any damage or loss to such persons and/ or their property in any circumstance.
Users shall comply with all reasonable requests from the marina staff, which relate to the safe and efficient running of the marina.
The use of Jet Skis and all other personal watercraft is prohibited.
Fishing and swimming are strictly prohibited in the marina.
No chemical or sea toilet shall be discharged on or into the marina.
It is mandatory that all electrical leads connecting to our shore power must be tested by a qualified professional and have a current and valid tag displayed on the lead. It is also compulsory that all single-phase power leads are to have a current rating no less than 15 amps for safety requirements.
Owners will ensure that no nuisance is caused by noisy, noxious or objectionable engines, or other apparatus or machinery. Music level must be turned off.
Tenders, equipment and supplies must be stored on vessels and not left on pontoons, jetties, marina areas or other areas of the resort.
No dangerous, flammable, poisonous or noxious substances or refuse shall be discharged on or into the marina.
The marina shall have the right but not the obligation to moor, re-berth, board to carry out work on a vessel in the event of fire or another emergency.
The resort, its employees shall have no liability in respect of any loss or damage to any vessel or its contents as a result of such action, even in the event of negligence on their part. The owners shall hold harmless and indemnify the resort, its employees in respect of any loss incurred.
Owners on the visiting pontoon must ensure the safety of their craft at all times.
Vessels must be in seaworthy and smart conditions.
Vessels moving within the marina shall not proceed at the speed or in a manner which may endanger or cause nuisance to other users or vessels.
Owners shall ensure that no person will work at the marina on their vessels for maintenance or other work which cause a nuisance or annoyance to others, or damage to any vessel or marina infrastructure.
The marina reserves the right to change rules /regulations and prices without prior notice at any time.
